We're Already 3 Weeks Into This

Weight = 229.2 lbs.
Momma & I weighed in yesterday. Eating-wise, I had a great week, but for some reason, I was certain it wasn't going to show up on the scale. I have a digital scale at home, but it's stupid - you have to step on the dumb thing at least three times, and hopefully two of those times you'll get the same reading. So, it's hard to judge from home whether or not I've lost any weight. But, I'm happy to report that I'm down another 3.0 pounds! YES!!!! So, I've lost a total of 12.4 pounds...in THREE WEEKS! I know soon enough my weight loss will slow down, but man, what a great start to this daunting challenge!

How much do I want to lose total? I'm not really sure. I'd be happy to be somewhere in the 160's. But first, there are several other milestones I'm looking forward to reaching. I've already lost 5% of my body weight!!! 217 will be a 10% weight loss. Getting to 213 will be nice, that was my starting pregnancy weight with my second child. Being under 200 will be huge! Reaching 175 will be great too, because then all of my WW meetings will be free! So, I look forward to enjoying & celebrating each milestone!!

Really quick, I just had to share that I had the opportunity to bring a great friend with me yesterday for her very first WW meeting. I'm so proud of her for taking the first step to a healthier, happier life! I'm also excited about the feedback we're getting on our blog.
